The birth card for December 11 is the Seven of Clubs
Clubs is the suit of ideas, learning and communication, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you think, learn and say, and what your mind will not put down.
As a Seven, you look for the truth beneath things, and trust it only once you have tested it yourself. The card dares you to trust what you have already learned and keep going when it is hard.
At work you do best with room to think, study and check things for yourself, because being told is not the same as knowing.
In love you need a partner you can trust and time alone to find your footing, and saying so before you withdraw is a kindness.
The Sun is in Sagittarius, or Scorpio in the sidereal zodiac
The tropical zodiac follows the seasons; the sidereal zodiac follows the constellations, which have drifted about 24 degrees since the two were aligned. So on December 11 the Sun is in Sagittarius by one reckoning and Scorpio by the other.
Sun in Sagittarius: You feel most alive when you are moving toward meaning: a vision, a truth, a horizon. The restlessness is not a flaw. The question is whether you are moving toward something or away from staying.
Sun in Scorpio: Your identity runs deep. You are drawn to what is true beneath the surface, and you will not settle for what is false. That intensity is your compass. It becomes a weapon only when used against people.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 26, The Taming Power of the Great
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on December 11 is in Gate 26: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. The Egoist and the power that comes from acknowledging self-worth.
As Gene Key 26, it runs from the Shadow of Pride, through the Gift of Artfulness, to the Siddhi of Invisibility.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 11: the Illuminator
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 11.
11, The Illuminator: The higher octave of two. Eleven is strong intuition that can inspire others, carried by a nervous system sensitive enough to match.
You are here to sense what others miss and put it into words that move people. Your nervous system needs calm, so protecting your rest is part of the work.
Read together, these say more than any one alone
A birthday fixes your birth card, your Sun sign and your Sun gate. The year, the time and the place fill in the rest: the Life Path number, the rising sign and the whole Human Design chart. We read them together, each one a lens on you. That’s where a birthday starts sounding like a person.
