The birth card for December 8 is the Ten of Clubs
Clubs is the suit of ideas, learning and communication, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you think, learn and say, and what your mind will not put down.
As a Ten, you aim high and work hard, and can lose sight of the life the goal was meant to serve. The card dares you to receive what you have built and make room for the people you built it for.
At work you do best with a large goal and the freedom to reach it your own way.
In love you need a partner who supports your goals, and they need to see you arrive for them as fully as for the work.
The Sun is in Sagittarius, or Scorpio in the sidereal zodiac
The tropical zodiac follows the seasons; the sidereal zodiac follows the constellations, which have drifted about 24 degrees since the two were aligned. So on December 8 the Sun is in Sagittarius by one reckoning and Scorpio by the other.
Sun in Sagittarius: You feel most alive when you are moving toward meaning: a vision, a truth, a horizon. The restlessness is not a flaw. The question is whether you are moving toward something or away from staying.
Sun in Scorpio: Your identity runs deep. You are drawn to what is true beneath the surface, and you will not settle for what is false. That intensity is your compass. It becomes a weapon only when used against people.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 26, The Taming Power of the Great
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on December 8 is in Gate 26: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. The Egoist and the power that comes from acknowledging self-worth.
As Gene Key 26, it runs from the Shadow of Pride, through the Gift of Artfulness, to the Siddhi of Invisibility.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 8: the Executive
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 8.
8, The Executive: Power in the material world. Eight is not greed; it is mastery of resources, money and authority, and the balance between ambition and integrity.
You are here to handle money, power and large responsibility well. The work is running things without needing to run the people too.
Read together, these say more than any one alone
