The birth card for March 18 is the Five of Diamonds
Diamonds is the suit of money and values, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you earn, spend and value, including what you believe you are worth.
As a Five, you need change, movement and the new, and tend to leave just before something deepens. The card dares you to stay with something long enough to find out what it gives you.
At work you do best with variety, travel or a role that keeps changing, because routine makes you restless quickly.
In love you need freedom and new experience, and a partner who never knows whether you are staying stops settling in too.
The Sun is in Pisces in both zodiacs
On March 18 the Sun is in Pisces whether you read the tropical zodiac, which follows the seasons, or the sidereal zodiac, which follows the constellations.
Sun in Pisces: Your identity is fluid and attuned to what most people cannot feel. You sense the world before you think about it. That is not weakness. It is a form of intelligence, and it needs boundaries to stay clear.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 36, The Darkening of the Light
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on March 18 is in Gate 36: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. Crisis and the capacity to act in times of emergency or darkness.
As Gene Key 36, it runs from the Shadow of Turbulence, through the Gift of Humanity, to the Siddhi of Compassion.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 18, which reduces to 9
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 18, read on its own and as 9.
9, The Completer: The end of the cycle. Nine is compassion widened past the personal: release, forgiveness, and the harvest of everything the cycle taught.
You are here to care about the wider world and give generously. The work is letting things end, and giving without waiting to be thanked.
