The birth card for December 4 is the Ace of Diamonds
Diamonds is the suit of money and values, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you earn, spend and value, including what you believe you are worth.
As a Ace, you start things, and grow restless once what you started needs looking after. The card dares you to finish what you start, and let someone else hold part of it.
At work you are the one who gets things moving, and the work holds when someone beside you cares about finishing.
In love you need room to move, and a partner who is always waiting for you to slow down starts to feel like the second choice.
The Sun is in Sagittarius, or Scorpio in the sidereal zodiac
The tropical zodiac follows the seasons; the sidereal zodiac follows the constellations, which have drifted about 24 degrees since the two were aligned. So on December 4 the Sun is in Sagittarius by one reckoning and Scorpio by the other.
Sun in Sagittarius: You feel most alive when you are moving toward meaning: a vision, a truth, a horizon. The restlessness is not a flaw. The question is whether you are moving toward something or away from staying.
Sun in Scorpio: Your identity runs deep. You are drawn to what is true beneath the surface, and you will not settle for what is false. That intensity is your compass. It becomes a weapon only when used against people.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 5, Fixed Rhythms
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on December 4 is in Gate 5: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. Fixed attention and the capacity to hold focus through repetition.
As Gene Key 5, it runs from the Shadow of Impatience, through the Gift of Patience, to the Siddhi of Timelessness.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 4: the Builder
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 4.
4, The Builder: Form and foundation. Four is not dullness; it is structure, work, and the patience to make things that outlast the mood that started them.
You are here to build things that last, one honest step at a time. Steady can quietly become stuck, and the work is noticing when the plan needs to change.
Read together, these say more than any one alone
