The birth card for March 9 is the Ace of Spades
Spades is the suit of work, health and personal change, so your deepest lessons arrive through how you work, and whether you look after yourself while you do.
As a Ace, you start things, and grow restless once what you started needs looking after. The card dares you to finish what you start, and let someone else hold part of it.
At work you are the one who gets things moving, and the work holds when someone beside you cares about finishing.
In love you need room to move, and a partner who is always waiting for you to slow down starts to feel like the second choice.
The Sun is in Pisces, or Aquarius in the sidereal zodiac
The tropical zodiac follows the seasons; the sidereal zodiac follows the constellations, which have drifted about 24 degrees since the two were aligned. So on March 9 the Sun is in Pisces by one reckoning and Aquarius by the other.
Sun in Pisces: Your identity is fluid and attuned to what most people cannot feel. You sense the world before you think about it. That is not weakness. It is a form of intelligence, and it needs boundaries to stay clear.
Sun in Aquarius: You define yourself by what you think, not by what you are told. Independence is your signature. Detachment can become a shield. You can need people and still be entirely yourself.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 22, Grace
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on March 9 is in Gate 22: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. Openness and the gift of seeing what could be expressed or shared.
As Gene Key 22, it runs from the Shadow of Dishonour, through the Gift of Graciousness, to the Siddhi of Grace.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 9: the Completer
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 9.
9, The Completer: The end of the cycle. Nine is compassion widened past the personal: release, forgiveness, and the harvest of everything the cycle taught.
You are here to care about the wider world and give generously. The work is letting things end, and giving without waiting to be thanked.
