The birth card for October 4 is the Five of Diamonds
Diamonds is the suit of money and values, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you earn, spend and value, including what you believe you are worth.
As a Five, you need change, movement and the new, and tend to leave just before something deepens. The card dares you to stay with something long enough to find out what it gives you.
At work you do best with variety, travel or a role that keeps changing, because routine makes you restless quickly.
In love you need freedom and new experience, and a partner who never knows whether you are staying stops settling in too.
The Sun is in Libra, or Virgo in the sidereal zodiac
The tropical zodiac follows the seasons; the sidereal zodiac follows the constellations, which have drifted about 24 degrees since the two were aligned. So on October 4 the Sun is in Libra by one reckoning and Virgo by the other.
Sun in Libra: You come to know yourself through other people. That is not weakness; it is the design. The difference is whether you lose yourself in the mirror, or remember that you are the one choosing.
Sun in Virgo: Your identity is built through refinement: improving things, noticing what others miss. The precision is a gift. Turned inward as constant correction, it edits you out of your own life.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 48, The Well
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on October 4 is in Gate 48: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. Depth and the gift of accessing deep wisdom resources.
As Gene Key 48, it runs from the Shadow of Inadequacy, through the Gift of Resourcefulness, to the Siddhi of Wisdom.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 4: the Builder
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 4.
4, The Builder: Form and foundation. Four is not dullness; it is structure, work, and the patience to make things that outlast the mood that started them.
You are here to build things that last, one honest step at a time. Steady can quietly become stuck, and the work is noticing when the plan needs to change.
