Gate 48 and Gene Key 48: The Well
Gate 48 is the Well, a gate in the Spleen centre on the Collective circuit. As Gene Key 48, it runs from the Shadow of Inadequacy, through the Gift of Resourcefulness, to the Siddhi of Wisdom. It is Hexagram 48 of the I Ching. The Sun passes through it each year from about September 29 to October 4.

Gate 48 is about depth and the gift of accessing deep wisdom resources

The Shadow, Inadequacy. So you build. You study, you stock up, you plan for the plan. It works, up to a point. You can have the savings, the credentials and the backup for the backup, and the unease still does not leave. The people around you meet the version of you that is always getting ready.
The Gift, Resourcefulness. The way through is to let the fear be there, feel it all the way through without rushing to fix it, and find that you are still standing. It was never a planning problem. That’s Resourcefulness: trusting that whatever comes, you can meet it.
The Siddhi, Wisdom: a wisdom rooted in deep not-knowing, where the right answer rises from the depths exactly when it’s needed.
Inadequacy says I don’t have what I need. Resourcefulness says I can meet it.
Each of the six lines colours Gate 48 differently
