The birth card for September 17 is the Seven of Clubs
Clubs is the suit of ideas, learning and communication, so your deepest lessons arrive through what you think, learn and say, and what your mind will not put down.
As a Seven, you look for the truth beneath things, and trust it only once you have tested it yourself. The card dares you to trust what you have already learned and keep going when it is hard.
At work you do best with room to think, study and check things for yourself, because being told is not the same as knowing.
In love you need a partner you can trust and time alone to find your footing, and saying so before you withdraw is a kindness.
The Sun is in Virgo in both zodiacs
On September 17 the Sun is in Virgo whether you read the tropical zodiac, which follows the seasons, or the sidereal zodiac, which follows the constellations.
Sun in Virgo: Your identity is built through refinement: improving things, noticing what others miss. The precision is a gift. Turned inward as constant correction, it edits you out of your own life.
Around the change of sign, the exact day shifts by year. Your chart settles it.
The Sun is in Gate 6, Friction
In Human Design and Gene Keys, the Sun on September 17 is in Gate 6: your Personality Sun, and the key at the centre of your Life’s Work. Conflict and the wisdom of tension that leads to resolution.
As Gene Key 6, it runs from the Shadow of Conflict, through the Gift of Diplomacy, to the Siddhi of Peace.
Gates change every five or six days, so near the edges your Sun may sit in the gate next door. Your chart shows the line too.
Your birthday number is 17, which reduces to 8
The birthday number is a specific talent carried in the day you arrived: the day of the month, 17, read on its own and as 8.
8, The Executive: Power in the material world. Eight is not greed; it is mastery of resources, money and authority, and the balance between ambition and integrity.
You are here to handle money, power and large responsibility well. The work is running things without needing to run the people too.
Read together, these say more than any one alone
