The Shadow, Victimization. Your moods are large and move like weather. On a low day it is easy to find the cause outside you: your partner, your work, the world, the tone of someone’s reply. Blaming feels like relief. It also hands your day to whoever you blamed. The people close to you learn to read the weather before they speak.
The Gift, Freedom. When you let the mood be a mood, feel it fully and stop looking for whose fault it is, it passes on its own. Low days often bring your deepest creative work. That’s Freedom: your state is yours, and nobody else holds the key.
