Saturn in Taurus: your lesson is building security for yourself
Saturn is the lesson: where you grow up, slowly, whether you like it or not.
Your lesson is building security for yourself. Little is handed to you, and what you have is earned through patience. That is not punishment. It is how you come to trust what you build.
Taurus is earth, fixed and ruled by Venus
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Saturn may be in Taurus in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Gemini usually sits in sidereal Taurus, and a tropical Taurus Saturn is often sidereal Aries.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Saturn in Taurus sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Taurus tropical Saturn is usually sidereal Taurus too, while an early one is sidereal Aries. Your chart settles it.
