Saturn in Gemini: Sidereal and Tropical
Saturn is the lesson: where you grow up, slowly, whether you like it or not. In Gemini, your lesson lives in the mind, and it asks for depth over breadth. Gemini is a air sign, mutable, ruled by Mercury. A sidereal Saturn in Gemini is often a tropical Saturn in Cancer.

Saturn is the lesson: where you grow up, slowly, whether you like it or not.
Your lesson lives in the mind, and it asks for depth over breadth. Stay with one subject long enough to become its authority, rather than knowing a little about everything.
Gemini is air, mutable and ruled by Mercury
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Saturn may be in Gemini in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Cancer usually sits in sidereal Gemini, and a tropical Gemini Saturn is often sidereal Taurus.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Saturn in Gemini sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Gemini tropical Saturn is usually sidereal Gemini too, while an early one is sidereal Taurus. Your chart settles it.
