Sun in Gemini: Sidereal and Tropical
The Sun is identity: what you are building yourself around. In Gemini, your sense of self moves, and that is the design. Gemini is a air sign, mutable, ruled by Mercury. A sidereal Sun in Gemini is often a tropical Sun in Cancer.

Sun in Gemini: your sense of self moves, and that is the design
The Sun is identity: what you are building yourself around.
Your sense of self moves, and that is the design. You are here to hold more than one truth at once, not to settle them. Changing your mind is not inconsistency. It is your mind working.
Gemini is air, mutable and ruled by Mercury
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Sun may be in Gemini in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Cancer usually sits in sidereal Gemini, and a tropical Gemini Sun is often sidereal Taurus.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Sun in Gemini sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Gemini tropical Sun is usually sidereal Gemini too, while an early one is sidereal Taurus. Your chart settles it.
