South Node in Gemini: you already know quick thinking and communication; that agility is yours
The South Node, Ketu in Vedic astrology, is what you already know by heart and can over-rely on.
You already know quick thinking and communication; that agility is yours. The growth now is committing to one truth deeply enough to stand on it.
Gemini is air, mutable and ruled by Mercury
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your South Node may be in Gemini in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Cancer usually sits in sidereal Gemini, and a tropical Gemini South Node is often sidereal Taurus.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.
