Mars in Gemini: you act through words, agility and strategy
Mars is drive: how you go after what you want, and how you fight.
You act through words, agility and strategy. Your energy is mental and mobile, and you can hold many fronts at once. Spread across too many, none of them land.
Gemini is air, mutable and ruled by Mercury
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Mars may be in Gemini in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Cancer usually sits in sidereal Gemini, and a tropical Gemini Mars is often sidereal Taurus.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Mars in Gemini sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Gemini tropical Mars is usually sidereal Gemini too, while an early one is sidereal Taurus. Your chart settles it.
