Sun in Leo: Sidereal and Tropical
The Sun is identity: what you are building yourself around. In Leo, you need to be seen for who you are, not admired but seen. Leo is a fire sign, fixed, ruled by the Sun. A sidereal Sun in Leo is often a tropical Sun in Virgo.

Sun in Leo: you need to be seen for who you are, not admired but seen
The Sun is identity: what you are building yourself around.
You need to be seen for who you are, not admired but seen. Self-expression is not vanity for you; it is how you stay alive. The line it turns on is whether you are being yourself or performing yourself.
Leo is fire, fixed and ruled by the Sun
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Sun may be in Leo in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Virgo usually sits in sidereal Leo, and a tropical Leo Sun is often sidereal Cancer.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Sun in Leo sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Leo tropical Sun is usually sidereal Leo too, while an early one is sidereal Cancer. Your chart settles it.
