Sun in Libra: you come to know yourself through other people
The Sun is identity: what you are building yourself around.
You come to know yourself through other people. That is not weakness; it is the design. The difference is whether you lose yourself in the mirror, or remember that you are the one choosing.
Libra is air, cardinal and ruled by Venus
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Sun may be in Libra in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Scorpio usually sits in sidereal Libra, and a tropical Libra Sun is often sidereal Virgo.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Sun in Libra sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Libra tropical Sun is usually sidereal Libra too, while an early one is sidereal Virgo. Your chart settles it.
