The traditions · Gene Keys
That thing you keep doing? It’s trying to tell you something.
Gene Keys takes the same birth data as Human Design and reads it as a path: the habits that keep tripping you up, and the strength hiding inside each one.
Your profile gives you themes to return to, with room for your understanding to change.
There is no reading order and nothing to finish. Some themes land at once. Others take years to mean anything.
Free Gene Keys Profile Calculator: Birth date, birth time and birthplace. Free, no account needed.
What it calculates
- The keys and lines associated with your profile
- The spheres shown in your reading
- Shadow, Gift and Siddhi themes
- Connections between different parts of the profile
- Additional zodiac comparisons offered by Soul Cartography
What it brings to your Manual
Gene Keys asks what a recurring pressure is pointing toward, not only what to call it. In your Manual it is read with the other maps, never alone.
- WISDOM & SELF-KNOWLEDGE: What you keep coming back to, and the understanding it is slowly building.
- FAME & REPUTATION: How you are seen, and what dims you when you hold back.
- RELATIONSHIPS & PARTNERSHIPS: What you draw in, and the patterns it brings into relationship.
Every key has three levels. Most of us are stuck on the first.
Each key is described at three levels. The Shadow is where most people operate, most of the time: the pattern that runs without being noticed. The Gift is the pathway out of the Shadow and toward the Siddhi. The Siddhi is the highest expression of the key.
If the Gift doesn't sound like you yet, that is the point. It is a direction, not a test.
It works when you keep coming back to it.
Choose a theme and stay with it. What does it bring to mind? When have you lived it differently? What changes when you give yourself more time before reacting?
You don't have to make every passage fit. Some ideas become useful later. Some never will.
Some comparisons are ours, and they are labelled.
The platform also reads profiles through more than one zodiac. That is Soul Cartography's extension of the reading, not part of the standard Gene Keys profile.
Both are shown, and which is which is always marked.
