Moon in Sagittarius: when feelings grow heavy, you want space and something to believe in
The Moon is emotional need: what makes you feel safe.
When feelings grow heavy, you want space and something to believe in. Movement toward meaning is how you cope. The work is staying with what hurts instead of explaining your way past it.
Sagittarius is fire, mutable and ruled by Jupiter
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Moon may be in Sagittarius in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Capricorn usually sits in sidereal Sagittarius, and a tropical Sagittarius Moon is often sidereal Scorpio.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.
