North Node in Scorpio: you are growing toward depth, change and emotional truth
The North Node, Rahu in Vedic astrology, is where life pulls you to grow.
You are growing toward depth, change and emotional truth. Your familiar ground is stability and keeping things manageable. The growth is letting go and trusting what change brings.
Scorpio is water, fixed and ruled by Mars
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your North Node may be in Scorpio in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Sagittarius usually sits in sidereal Scorpio, and a tropical Scorpio North Node is often sidereal Libra.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.
