Venus in Scorpio: you love with depth and total commitment
Venus is love and value: what you are drawn to and how you connect.
You love with depth and total commitment. Casual connection does not satisfy you. The growth is trusting that love can be safe without being consuming.
Scorpio is water, fixed and ruled by Mars
The element sets the temperament: fire acts, earth builds, air connects, water feels. The modality sets the motion: cardinal starts, fixed holds, mutable adapts. The ruler is the planet that carries the sign’s agenda.
Your Venus may be in Scorpio in one zodiac and not the other
The tropical zodiac is tied to the seasons; the sidereal zodiac to the stars. They have drifted about 24 degrees apart, almost a whole sign. So a planet in the first two-thirds of tropical Sagittarius usually sits in sidereal Scorpio, and a tropical Scorpio Venus is often sidereal Libra.
Neither is wrong. The tropical chart describes how you meet the world; the sidereal chart is the sky as it actually stood. We read both, plus True Sky and the draconic chart, and make sense of all four as one picture.

Is my Venus in Scorpio sidereal or tropical?
It depends on the degree. The zodiacs are about 24° apart, so a late-Scorpio tropical Venus is usually sidereal Scorpio too, while an early one is sidereal Libra. Your chart settles it.
