Ego Authority in Human Design
Ego Authority is how you make decisions you can trust. Clarity through will. The question is what your heart genuinely wants and what you are willing to commit to. Your word becomes the authority. Ask whether you actually want this, and whether you are willing to give your word to it. It belongs to Manifestors and Projectors.

Using ego authority means ask whether you actually want this, and whether you are willing to give your word to it
Ask whether you actually want this, and whether you are willing to give your word to it. If your heart is not in it, do not promise it. Once committed, keep your word.
What it feels like when it speaks
A clear sense of what matters and what you will stand behind. Conviction rather than obligation.
It comes from a defined Heart (Ego) centre
Will, worth and commitment. The Heart is the willpower to make and keep a promise, and the sense of what you are worth.
You have consistent access to willpower. You can commit and follow through, and your word carries weight. Rest is part of keeping it.
How it works with each type that has it
Authority sits inside strategy: the strategy says when to engage, the authority says whether to.
Manifestors with ego Authority
Strategy: To Inform. Follow your impulse to begin. Then let the ego authority decide.
Projectors with ego Authority
Strategy: To Wait For Invitation. Wait for recognition and invitation, especially in work, love and where you live. Then let the ego authority decide.
The mistakes people make with it
Confusing pride with genuine desire, or committing to prove something. Promising what the heart never wanted, then paying for it.
