Splenic Authority in Human Design
Splenic Authority is how you make decisions you can trust. Clarity in the moment. The Spleen speaks once, quietly and spontaneously, about what is safe and right now. It does not speak to the future and it does not repeat itself. Act on the knowing when it arrives. It belongs to Manifestors, Generators, Manifesting Generators and Projectors.

Using splenic authority means act on the knowing when it arrives
Act on the knowing when it arrives. Do not reason it over first. If the moment passes, the clarity passes with it.
What it feels like when it speaks
A sudden, quiet knowing. Certain in the moment, and often without an explanation. The answer simply is.
It comes from a defined Spleen centre
Instinct, health and survival. The Spleen speaks in the moment, quietly, about what is safe and what is not.
You have consistent access to instinct and a steady sense of wellbeing. Your body tells you, in the moment, what is right for you.
How it works with each type that has it
Authority sits inside strategy: the strategy says when to engage, the authority says whether to.
Manifestors with splenic Authority
Strategy: To Inform. Follow your impulse to begin. Then let the splenic authority decide.
Generators with splenic Authority
Strategy: To Respond. Let life bring something to you, then listen for your Sacral yes or no. Then let the splenic authority decide.
Manifesting Generators with splenic Authority
Strategy: To Respond, Then Inform. Respond first, then move. Then let the splenic authority decide.
Projectors with splenic Authority
Strategy: To Wait For Invitation. Wait for recognition and invitation, especially in work, love and where you live. Then let the splenic authority decide.
The mistakes people make with it
Expecting the knowing to stay, and losing it while reasoning. Doubting it because it does not make logical sense. Asking the Spleen to answer a question about next year.
In a child, splenic Authority needs room
Their authority speaks once, in the moment — a quiet, body-level knowing. Help them learn to catch that first subtle signal. Validate their 'I just know' feeling even when they can't explain it logically.
